Ms. DeVries serves as the Associate Administrator in SBA's Office of Investment & Innovation where she leads a portfolio of SBA programs that provide the high-growth small business community with access to financial capital and R&D funds. These programs include the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) Program, the Small Business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer Programs (SBIR/STTR), and a series of innovation accelerator and incubator grant programs.

Ms. DeVries comes to the SBA after a career in asset management and defense contracting. She has served in leadership and executive roles while at T. Rowe Price, Greenspring Associates (now Stepstone), Trail Mix Ventures, and Sotera Defense. She began her career in strategy and management consulting working with global asset management firms while at CEB, now part of Gartner Research.

Ms. DeVries holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.S. from Northwestern University, and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.
