Lanelle E. Chisolm, a U.S. Army Veteran, is currently a National Account Manager assigned to the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Customer and Stakeholder Engagement locate, Federal Acquisition Service, in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Chisolm earned the Distinguished Military Graduate and cum laude distinction from Norfolk State University with her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Medical Services Corps in 1996. Upon entering Active Duty, she was assigned to Moncrief Army Community Hospital in Fort Jackson, SC. Her duties included Chief, Patient Service Representative and Contracting Officer Technical Representative for the USAMEDCOM Southeast Region Tricare Contract. In 1999, Lanelle transferred to Waegwon, South Korea and was assigned to the 16th MEDLOG Battalion as the Battalion Supply Officer/Property Book Officer. In 2001, she relocated to the beltway and served in many logistical roles culminating into the Deputy Director of Logistics at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. In her final military role Lanelle served as the Company Commander, Student Company at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Ms. Chisolm entered federal service in 2006, serving as the Chief Materiel Acquisition, Directorate of Logistics, and Deputy Director, Directorate of Logistics. Subsequently, she joined the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory in Rockville, MD. During her tenure at AFDIL, she fulfilled many roles to include Senior Administrative Officer and agency Senior Program Manager/Contracting Officer Representative. In 2013, she transferred to the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System and took on the role as the Director, Operations and Security Directorate, responsible for Security and Emergency Management. In 2016, she became the GSA Customer Service Director supporting multiple agencies in the Baltimore-Washington Commuting area.
In addition to the aforementioned degree, Lanelle earned a Master of Science in Management (Healthcare Administration) from Troy State University and her Project Management Professional certification.
